While Atalanta remain in the chase for the 2024/25
Serie A title, Gian Gasperini is equally as excited for UEFA Champions League qualification as the popular Bergamo side prepare to face Lecce at the Gewiss Stadium this coming weekend.

Following a barren run of three consecutive defeats, Atalanta returned to winning ways in each of their last two league games.
Most notably, Atalanta saw out a 1-0 win against AC Milan in their latest league fixture and close the gap to log leader’s Inter Milan to seven points.
Lecce on the other hand, are in 17
th position after 33 matches played. While they suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of Como last Saturday, Lecce extended their winless run in the league to 10 matches.

Lecce will be without Gaby Jean for the foreseeable future after the defender suffered a nasty knee injury two weeks ago. Atalanta on the other hand, have no real injury worries ahead of their next game.
