They defeated Tonga 101-10 in their last meeting and the match was played on the 15th of October 1999.

Lastly, Ireland will take on Scotland in a Pool A match at the International Stadium Yokohama on Sunday, September 22.
 
This will be the 136th meeting between the two teams and Scotland have dominated this fixture.
 
Scotland have recorded 67 victories compared to Ireland's 63 wins, while five matches ended in a draw.
 
Their last meeting ended in a 22-13 victory in favour of Ireland on the 9th of February 2019.
