MotoGP World Champion Fabio Quartararo will be looking to build on his first victory of the 2022 season when he takes to the circuit at the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday, May 1.
The Frenchman finished on the podium for the second time in five races when he won the Portuguese Grand Prix for the second year running, having claimed P2 at the Indonesian Grand Prix.

Quartararo shares the lead with Alex Rins of Team Suzuki Ecstar in the riders' standings, with the duo three points ahead of Aprilia Racing's Aleix Espargaro in third place.
The 23-year-old knows what it takes to succeed in Jerez after picking up his maiden premier-class win on the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto in 2020.

The Monster Energy Yamaha rider admitted the key to his triumph last weekend was being aggressive from the get-go, claiming he would have struggled to keep up with the Ducatis.
"I managed to win by pushing myself to the limit," Quartararo said. "Today, I felt very good since the warm-up. I made an amazing start in the race.
"I had to be aggressive since the beginning, because I knew we were going to have problems here if we stayed behind the Ducatis.
"I'm super happy to get my first win of the season. That's the most important thing for me - to never give up."
