Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia will be determined to secure his maiden win of the current campaign when he takes part in the
British Grand Prix.
The Italian star, who was the 2018 Moto2 World Champion, finished 11th in the 2019 British Grand Prix and it was also his debut season in the premier class.
Bagnaia came very close to recording his first win in the 2021 MotoGP World Championship season when he finished second at the Austrian MotoGP on August 15.

KTM rider Brad Binder won the Austrian MotoGP, while Bagnaia's teammate, Jorge Martin finished third as Ducati enjoyed a successful weekend in Spielberg.
Fabio Quartararo of Yamaha is still placed at the top of the Riders' standings and he is among the favourites to win the British MotoGP title.
Bagnaia and Suzuki rider Joan Mir are placed second and third respectively on the standings heading into this weekend's highly anticipated race.
Bagnaia will be looking to win the British MotoGP title in order to close the gap on Quartararo, who is 47 points ahead of him at the moment.

“It’s the same situation as before,” Bagnaia said when asked about the championship picture by Austrian MotoGP.
“47 points is still a lot. Maybe another race like this for Fabio will help us, but he’s very strong and he’s having an incredible season.
“With a Yamaha, at this track where they struggle a bit more, to stay on top isn’t easy. He [Quartararo] deserves his points at the minute.”
Ducati are placed at the top of Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Yamaha and KTM respectively.
