Bayer Leverkusen will face off with Juventus in a Group D match of the
2019/20 UEFA Champions League at the BayArena on Wednesday.
The German side defeated Russian giants Lokomotiv Moscow 2-0 in their previous Group D game which was played in Russia on November 26.
The win left Leverkusen placed third on the group standings having accumulated six points from five matches.
Meanwhile, Juventus secured a 1-0 win over Spanish giants Atletico Madrid at home in their previous which was played in Italy on November 26.
The win took the Italian champions to the top of the on the group standings having collected two points from five matches.
Miralem Pjanić, the Juventus midfielder, is keen to help his side win the tournament after finishing as the group winners.
"It was important to secure the qualification and first place in the group," Pjanić said.
"But the decisive matches will arrive later and we will have to grow to make us ready. My goal is to bring the Champions League trophy to Turin."

The last competitive meeting between Leverkusen and Juventus was on the 1st of October 2019.
Juventus thrashed Leverkusen 3-0 in a match which was played at the Allianz Stadium.
