Juventus will be aiming to build some sort of momentum by defeating Genona in a 2020-21 Serie A fixture on Sunday evening.
The defending champions have made a stuttering start to the campaign and despite having yet to lose a game,
the Old Lady have drawn five of their 10 matches and sit six points adrift of leaders Milan heading into this weekend's round of fixtures.
Juve had to fight their way back from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory over rivals Torino last time out. It marked the first time the club had won a league game in which they had trailed since November 2019.
Bianconeri head coach Andrea Pirlo was delighted with his team's fighting spirit and will take even more confidence to Genoa following their 3-0 win over Barcelona on Tuesday.
"When you lose every challenge, it becomes difficult to control the game," Pirlo told Sky Sport Italia in the aftermath of their win over Torino.
"We were too static and never filled the box when we did manage to find some width to put a cross in. It's difficult against a five-man defence.
"We remembered after the break that the Juventus DNA is to put in heart and sacrifice. Once you can pin them back into their half, it becomes easier to get the breakthrough."
He added: "It's more exhausting as a player, very different as a coach, but the feeling of victory is the same."
Genoa are without a win in nine Serie A fixtures since a 4-1 victory over Crotone on the opening weekend of the season and head into matchday 11 in 19th spot on the league standings, three points from safety.

The corresponding fixture last season ended in a 3-1 win for Juve. Goals from Paulo Dybala, Cristiano Ronaldo and Douglas Costa were followed by a consolation strike from Andrea Pinamonti.
