The San Antonio Spurs and the Denver Nuggets will have a crunch clash in the NBA Regular Season with their meeting at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas on the morning of Friday 10 December 2021. Tip-off is at 03:30.
The Spurs are looking to break into the top 10 bracket after an underwhelming season thus far, with this past weekend bringing a thumping 114-83 win over the short-handed Portland Trail Blazers. Bryn Forbes had 18 points off the bench, while Doug McDermott added 16 points and Dejounte Murray had 15 points and 13 assists.

"Obviously we had a break with Damian [Lillard, Trail Blazers’ key man] not playing tonight, but it happens all the time and you can't feel sorry for anybody. But he would have made a difference," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said.
The Nuggets have had a slightly better campaign than the Spurs, but they are still stinging from a 108-103 away loss to the Orlando Magic. Denver have had to fight against the odds on a tough away run of games, but will fancy themselves to compete strongly against San Antonio.

"After that [first] quarter, they got anything they wanted and the biggest thing that stands out is our inability to defend the paint," Denver coach Michael Malone said of the loss to the Magic. "It was a 12-3 punch in the mouth [to start the second half]. We tried to go zone and it was layup after layup after layup."
In head-to-head stats, the Spurs and the Nuggets have met in 193 Regular Season games since 1976-77, with San Antonio claiming 119 wins compared to 74 for Denver. The teams’ last Regular Season meeting was in October 2021, with the Nuggets winning 102-96 at home thanks to 32 points from Nikola Jokic.
