Jimmy Walker will be determined to end his long wait for silverware by winning
The Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens.
The last time the American star won a professional tournament was in 2016 as he clinched the PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey, USA.
Walker shot a 65 in the first round to hold the lead by one stroke and this represented the first time that he had ever led a major in his career.

After playing in 187 events without a win on the PGA Tour, Walker won three times in the first eight events of the 2014 season.
The 2004 Nationwide Tour leading money winner lifted the Frys.com Open, Sony Open in Hawaii and AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
Walker then won the Sony Open in Hawaii for the second time in 2015, before clinching the 2015 Valero Texas Open with a four-stroke victory over Jordan Spieth.
The 43-year-old took part in the 2022 Waste Management Phoenix Open in Arizona, USA and he failed to make the cut earlier this month.

Walker recently stated that he is grateful for his five-year exemption status, he’s one of the lucky ones who can choose to give himself an off-season.
“I don’t have to play in the fall. I still play golf at home and I still and enjoy it, but it’s letting your mind take a break. You’re not out there having to compete," Walker said.
"You can come home and enjoy a round of golf with your buddies. It’s refreshing and it just helps rejuvenate your body and rejuvenate your mind, about yeah,
"I’ve had a couple months off, I’m ready to go back out and start crushing it again, crushing people and getting after it. But having that break is nice.”
Four men have won The Honda Classic more than once namely; Jack Nicklaus, Johnny Miller, Mark Calcavecchia and Pádraig Harrington.
