Minnesota Timberwolves are expected to make short work of San Antonio Spurs when they meet at the Frost Bank Center on the morning of Sunday, January 28 for their
NBA match up.
The Timberwolves are locked in a fierce battle with Oklahoma City Thunder (2nd) and Denver Nuggets (3rd) to see who will finish as top seeds for the playoffs.
Chris Finch's team currently lead the Western Conference with a record of 30-13 after suffering back-to-back home defeats against the Thunder and Charlotte Hornets.
Karl-Anthony Towns scored a franchise-record 62 points against the Hornets on January 23, but it was not enough to get back to winning ways.

Towns hit a 3-pointer just before the shot-clock which marked the 21st time in NBA history that a player scored 60 points or more in a loss.
"There's no moral victories," the center said. "It was cool when we were saying that when we were 15-30 (in previous seasons).
"But we're No. 1 in the West, one of the best teams in NBA; there ain't no time for moral victories, silver linings, 'great night, but just not a not a finish we wanted' - we've got to find a way to win.
"It's about winning the game. It's about staying No. 1 in the West. It's about protecting our home court more, most importantly above all things."
Spurs have the worst record in the West and the third-worst in the NBA this season as they attempt to halt a three-game losing streak to Minnesota.
Gregg Popovich's team picked up a rare win against Washington Wizards on January 21, but slumped to a 133-123 defeat at the hands of Philadelphia 76ers two days later.
Popovich gave rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama the unenviable task of trying to keep Joel Embiid quiet, but the Sixers center scored franchise-record 70 points which was also the highest in the NBA this season.
Wembanyama, who scored 33 points, said of his match-up against Embiid: "It would have been more fun in a win, of course, but it's inspiring, especially offensively."
