Deportivo Alaves will be keen to humble top six hopefuls, Girona FC, when they meet at the Estadio de Mendizorroza on 11 January.

Santiago Mourino and Antonio Sivera are the two players on Alaves' injury list, but the Glorious One have no suspension concerns.
While Portu, Iván Martín and Bojan Miovski are all on Girona's injury list, but club does not have any suspension issues.

"I have seen a very good team, especially in things that the team needed, more aggressiveness with and without the ball, the pressure after the loss has been top at all times, we have done very well," Girona manager Michel said after his side's win over Valladolid.
"(In past games) we dominated the ball but we were not strong in the box, especially in our own, we were not a team that pressed after losing the ball. Today the aggressiveness, the pressure was incredible, for me the best of the season."
