Bryson DeChambeau will be determined to retain his
US Open title having won the tournament last year.
Prior to that, the American star had become the fifth player in history to win both the NCAA Division I championship and the US Amateur in the same year (2015).
With his 2020 US Open win, DeChambeau became the third player to have won those three championships, after gold icons Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.

DeChambeau, who was born in California, is nicknamed the Scientist due to his analytical and scientific approaches to the sport.
The Scientist has won eight times on the PGA Tour including the John Deere Classic, Memorial Tournament, The Northern Trust and Dell Technologies Championship.
DeChambeau won the 2021 Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, Florida the USA in March and it remains his last win on the PGA.
The 27-year-old shot a final round one-under 71 to defeat Lee Westwood by one shot at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

DeChambeau has discussed his rivalry with his compatriot Brooks Koepka ahead of the US Open with the pair having traded blows on social media.
"I've got nothing against [Koepka]. I've got no issues at all. If he wants to play that game, that's great," DeChambeau said.
"I'm going to keep trying to play my best game and when it comes down to it, when somebody's that bothered by someone else it is flattering.
"He's had stuff with other people too. Like Rory [McIlroy] and numerous others. So this isn't a one-off thing. It's just the way he deals with stuff and I'm totally fine with it."
Willie Anderson, Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan and Jack Nicklaus are the most decorated players in the history of the US Open having won four titles each.
