Sam Burns will be looking to become the second player to successfully defend the
Valspar Championship when he takes part in this year's tournament.
Paul Casey remains the only golfer to successfully retain the title in 2019 and Burns will be hoping to emulate the English sportsman.
The American golfer won the 2021 Valspar Championship after he shot a final-round 68 to win by three strokes over Keegan Bradley.

Two weeks after winning the Valspar Championship, Burns finished runner-up to K.H. Lee at the AT&T Byron Nelson as he came close to clinching his second win in the PGA Tour.
However, the Louisiana-born golfer did lift his second PGA Tour title at the Sanderson Farms Championship in October 2021.
Burns entered the final round one shot behind the leader but took the lead and then pulled away with a stretch of four birdies in five holes on the back nine.
The 25-year-old is coming into this year's Valspar Championship having finished ninth at this year's The Players Championship on Monday.
Burns recently reflected on his 2021 Valspar Championship win when speaking on ABC Action News.
“I remember walking up 18 there with a four-shot lead not knowing I was going to win for sure but having a pretty good idea I was,” Burns said.
“Six, you can’t really see the fairway. That hole always bothers me because you can’t see the tee shot. I’m not sure if it’s in the fairway or not.”
Paul Casey, K.J Choi and Retief Goosen are the most successful golfers in the history of the Valspar Championship having won the tournament a record twice.
