Red Bull Racing's Sergio Perez will be hoping for a better performance at the
Saudi Arabian Grand Prix this time around after failing to complete the race last season.
The Mexican started fifth on the grid in 2021 but was tagged from behind by Charles Leclerc's Ferrari on lap 15 to end his evening in Jeddah.

Perez looked poised to start the 2022 season with a P3 but he spun out on turn two in the final lap of the Bahrain Grand Prix to join team-mate Max Verstappen in retiring.
The 32-year-old expressed his disappointment with the outcome in Sakhir, but is hopeful the team can get a handle on the issues with the cars before the second event of the year.

"I was very unfortunate," he said. "I lost the engine, just locked the rears completely and there was nothing I could do. It looks a very similar problem to what Max had.
"I'm definitely disappointed but we are a strong team and it's a long season ahead of us, we just have to remain working as hard as possible and next weekend is another opportunity."
