Daniel Berger will be determined to successfully defend his
Charles Schwab Challenge title when he competes at the Colonial Country Club.
The American golfer is currently ranked 16th in the Official World Golf Rankings and his highest ranking is 12th.
Berger won the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge, and it was the first PGA Tour tournament back after a three-month hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Florida-born golfer won the tournament when Japanese star Collin Morikawa missed a very short putt for par on the first playoff hole.
Berger had a streak of 32 consecutive rounds at par or better in 2019/20, the eighth-longest streak since 1983, one round fewer than the streaks of Kenny Perry and Harris English.

The 2015 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, clinching victory with an eagle on the 18th hole.
Berger is now looking to become the first golfer to successfully defend the Charles Schwab Challenge trophy since his compatriot Ben Hogan in 1953.

The 28-year-old says he is working towards becoming number one in the world having started the year with a win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
"I do feel like I'm underrated but that's okay with me. I just think it puts a little chip on my shoulder which is totally fine," Berger said.
"I just want to continue to get better. I feel like my goal has always been to be the No. 1 player in the world. Some people will laugh at that and that's fine.
"But that's something that every day I wake up and I strive for."
