Power Dynamos still have a fighting chance but will need to rely on Zesco United faltering in their final games. Power Dynamos will host Mufulira Wanderers this weekend at Arthur Davies Stadium, followed by a crucial away game against NAPSA Stars in Lusaka. To qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup, Power Dynamos must win both matches and hope that Zesco United does not secure more than one point from their two fixtures.
FC MUZA faces the most challenging path to qualification. They must win their remaining two matches and hope both Zesco United and Power Dynamos lose their games. This weekend, FC MUZA will be away to relegation-threatened Kansanshi Dynamos in Solwezi. Their final match is a home game against Kabwe Warriors. Even with victories in both games, FC MUZA’s chances heavily depend on the performance of the teams above them.
