Rennes will lock horns with Chelsea in a UEFA Champions League Group E match on November 24.
The French side succumbed to a 3-0 defeat to Chelsea in their last game in the competition on November 4.
As a result, Rennes are winless in their last three matches in the competition having recorded two successive defeats and one draw.

Rennes drew their first home match in the Champions League as they make their debut appearance in the group stage.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will be confident of completing a double over Rennes following their comprehensive victory at home.
The English giants are undefeated in their last three matches in the Champions League having recorded one draw and two consecutive wins.
They defeated Krasnodar in their last away match in the competition and they returned to winning ways on the road as they were winless in two games.

Thiago Silva, the Chelsea defender, lauded Rennes as a good team and he reflected on their win in London.
"Rennes are a good team, I told that to my team-mates in the dressing room before the game," Silva said.
"I have played a lot against this team. Two seasons ago they beat Paris in the final of the French Cup, I was injured but I saw a team who played very well with the ball.
"They are very well organised and have a coach who likes technical football. At the beginning, it was very difficult for us. We didn’t keep the ball as well as we normally do at home."
Rennes will host Chelsea for the first time in a competitive match.
