The Memphis Grizzlies will be out to maul the Phoenix Suns when the teams meet in an NBA Regular Season clash at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee on the morning of Saturday 13 November 2021. Tip-off is at 03:00.
The Grizzlies put together back-to-back wins last week, but their momentum was halted with a blowout 115-87 defeat away to the Washington Wizards this past weekend. "Give them a lot of credit," Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins said. "They came out the more hungry team."

One of the major issues for Memphis was simply closing down the Wizards’ key point scorers, such as Bradley Beal and Montrezl Harrell – something Grizzlies’ Ziaire Williams had identified as a major issue to be addressed ahead of taking on Phoenix: “It just comes back to effort and just playing one-on-one defence,” he explained.
The Suns shrugged off their rocky start to the campaign and have begun to string together some fine wins, including a 123-111 victory over the talented Houston Rockets this past weekend, though an NBA investigation into allegations of racism and sexism from owner Robert Sarver has put a cloud over the franchise.

"My reaction is it's a lot to process," coach Monty Williams said. "There's so many things there and for me it's still not clear, as far as the facts are concerned. As someone who is the caretaker of the program, I find all of these things that are being said serious in nature. These allegations are sensitive — that's an understatement."
He wants his team to ignore the off-court issues and get on with business: “You're not going to have a long career in the NBA if you can't handle distractions.”
In head-to-head stats, the Grizzlies and the Suns have met in 95 Regular Season games since 1995-96, with Phoenix claiming 57 wins compared to 38 for Memphis. The teams’ last Regular Season meeting was in March 2021, with the Suns winning 122-99 at home thanks to 27 points from Devin Booker.
