The New York Knicks will look to outshine the Phoenix Suns when the teams meet in an NBA Regular Season clash at Madison Square Garden in NYC on the morning of Saturday 27 November 2021. Tip-off is at 02:00.
The Knicks have stuttered of late and slipped to mid-table in the Eastern Conference, with a 104-98 defeat to the Orlando Magic this past weekend underlining their current issues. Putting in a full effort for the whole 48 minutes is what coach Tom Thibodeau is looking for from his charges.

“You have to play for 48 minutes. You can’t let your guard down,” Thibodeau said. “Unfortunately, we beat ourselves tonight. Our turnovers hurt us. We’re capable of playing a lot better than we did. We give them credit. They played well. They played hard. We didn’t.”
The Suns have established themselves as one of the frontrunners in the Western Conference, with Phoenix once again looking like surprise contenders after their run to the NBA Finals last season. This past weekend saw them rally for an impressive 112-104 win over the Dallas Mavericks.
"Guys don't take this for granted," the Suns’ Chris Paul said. "The locker room is great. Sometimes you can win games and it feels like you lost in the locker room. But the locker room's great and the spirit is right."

"We were able to sustain for just a little bit longer than them," added Suns coach Monty Williams said. "It allowed for us to have an outburst in that fourth quarter."
In head-to-head stats, the Knicks and the Suns have met in 132 Regular Season games since 1968-69, with Phoenix claiming 68 wins compared to 64 for New York. The teams’ last Regular Season meeting was in May 2021, with the Suns racking up a sixth straight win over the Knicks thanks to a 128-105 score line in Phoenix, featuring 26 points from Deandre Ayton.
