Girona will aim to continue their fairytale run at the top of
La Liga when they host Athletic Bilbao at Estadi Municipal de Montilivi on the evening of Monday 27 November 2023.

Girona have racked up six successive wins across all competitions, with their last outing a 2-1 win away to Rayo Vallecano on November 11 in which Artem Dovbyk and Savio scored their goals.
The Blanquivermells have won five of their six home matches this season, with the only exception being a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Real Madrid.
Athletic have put together a three-game winning streak across all competitions, with their last outing a thrilling 4-3 home win over Celta Vigo on November 10 in which a late penalty from Alex Berenguer secured the three points.

Girona will be without Toni Villa (cruciate ligament injury), while Athletic’s injury list includes Raul Garcia (back problems), Yeray Álvarez (adductor injury), Yuri Berchiche (calf injury), Ander Herrera (hamstring injury).
