The
2022 CJ Cup is scheduled to take place at the Congaree Golf Club in Gillisonville, South Carolina, USA between 20 and 23 October.
The tournament which is part of the PGA Tour was played for the first time in October 2017 and is sponsored by the South Korean company, CJ Group.
The first three editions were played at the Nine Bridges Golf Club on Jeju Island, South Korea and the last two events have taken place in the USA.

The current champion is Rory McIlroy having won the 2021 CJ Cup which was held at The Summit Club in Las Vegas, the USA.
McIlroy will be among the big-name players who will compete in this year's tournament including Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas, Max Homa, Hideki Matsuyama and Jordan Spieth.
Three Korean players from the Official World Golf Ranking will be part of the field namely, S.H. Kim, Sanghyun Park and Byeong Hun An.
The field will be playing for a $10.5 million purse, with 30 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking among the top contenders.

“The relationship that was forged between the tour and the state of South Carolina was a special one," CJ Cup tournament director Andre Silva said.
"And it was always in the back of our mind if there was an opportunity to come back, definitely it would be one of the places that would be in discussions.
“It’s going to be amazing and one of the top PGA events on the tour this year for sure.”
Justin Thomas is the most decorated golfer in the history of the CJ Cup having won the tournament twice.
