Newly-promoted Nottingham Forest welcome Liverpool to the City Ground for the first time since 1999 in the
Premier League on Saturday, October 22.
On the last occasion that the two clubs met in the top flight, they played out to a 2-2 draw in West Bridgford on 5 April 1999 as the Reds extended their unbeaten run over Forest to four games.
Jurgen Klopp's side did face the East Midlands outfit as recently as last season in the FA Cup quarter-finals on their way to winning the trophy for an eighth time.
The Merseysiders halted a three-match winless run with a morale-boosting 1-0 victory over defending champions Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday, courtesy of Mohamed Salah's 76th-minute goal.

Klopp praised his players for an exceptional performance to keep City at bay as they failed to score in the league for the first time this season.
"I think on a normal day you should not even try against City, play your normal against them and hope that you get something from it [is not enough]. You have to play to your limits and further, that's what we did," the German said.
"We defended in an extremely well organised but very passionate way, closed the right gaps, challenged in the right areas and - because this still happens, and that's the biggest challenge against City - they still get through.
"They still get to the touchline, they still have an incredible amount of players in the box and how we defended the box, and especially the six-yard box, was absolutely exceptional because I think we all know, in these games you all know the City goals when they arrive there and they have the square pass and one is waiting free in front of the goal.
"We did it really well. So it was a top performance from all the boys and that's why we could win it."
Forest's struggles continued on Saturday when they lost 1-0 to Wolves at Molineux which saw them drop to the foot of the table.
Steve Cooper's team have now suffered six defeats in their last eight outings since picking up their only victory of the campaign against West Ham on August 14.

Cooper bemoaned their first-half display and felt his players could have done more with the ball, although he insists they're working towards improving results in an attempt to get out of danger.
"We're disappointed with the result and I didn't like us with the ball in the first half, we did OK defensively and we knew Wolves would have spells of possession but we didn't let them in on many occasions," he said.
"With the ball we didn't show enough bravery or responsibility in wanting to try and work our way up the pitch and get some momentum in the game.
"The message at half-time was defensively we were good but we feel we could've made more of the opportunities on the turnover and make more passes.
"We're trying to improve every day and stick to what we believe is going to be the right way to go and we're navigating our way through to that. The players will want to take responsibility as well and they'll be frustrated with the first-half performance."
