Valencia CF will lock horns with Athletic Bilbao in the
Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio de Mestalla on September 25.
The Bats succumbed to a disappointing 3-1 defeat Sevilla away in their previous league game that was played on September 22.
As a result, Valencia are winless in their last two matches in this competition having recorded two consecutive defeats.

Valencia lost to Real Madrid in their last game at home in La Liga and the defeat ended the team's four-match unbeaten run at Estadio de Mestalla.
"Yes, obviously important players have out injured us, and the team undoubtedly suffer for that," Valencia manager Jose Bordalas said as he reacted to their defeat to Sevilla.
"But in the end the players that we had were who we had, and we must not think about those who are not here. The result was overwhelming and we must improve. Defensively, we cannot concede so much.
"We’ve been scored against very early in away games, and you cannot concede that much -in the end you end up paying for it. We have to think about the game on Saturday and be more united in order to beat Athletic Club."

Meanwhile, Bilbao suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat to Rayo Vallecano at home in their previous league encounter which was played on September 21.
The defeat ended the Lions' five-match unbeaten run in this competition having recorded three draws and two victories.
However, Bilbao are still undefeated in their three away matches in La Liga having registered one victory and two draws.
The last meeting between Valencia and Bilbao in a league match was on 07 February 2021.
The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in a match that was played at Bilbao's home ground, Estadio San Mames.
