2022/23 UEFA Nations League
League A - Group 4
Matchday 5
Poland v Netherlands
Stadion Narodowy
Warsaw, Poland
Thursday, 22 September 2022
Kick-off is at 20h45
The Netherlands will look to maintain their unbeaten record in the
UEFA Nations League when they take on Poland at Stadion Narodowy on Thursday, September 22.
The Oranje top Group 4 after picking up 10 points from their opening four games, with the Eagles having spoiled their perfect record after recording a 2-2 draw in Rotterdam on matchday 3.
Louis van Gaal's side beat Wales in dramatic fashion last time out as Memphis Depay scored a 93th-minute winner just moments after Gareth Bale had made it 2-2 from the penalty spot.
Van Gaal included first-timers Remko Pasveer and Kenneth Taylor in his 25-man squad, saying it was the last chance for players to seize the moment ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

Ajax midfielder Taylor has made a fine start to the season, registering three goals and an assist, while veteran goalkeeper Pasveer impressed against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League.
"I wanted to see these players and this is the last chance before the World Cup. After these Nations League games we get together again November 14 just a week before the World Cup starts," the Dutchman said.
Poland made a winning start to proceedings, having come from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Wales in Wroclaw.
But they have fallen away in Group 4 after being beaten both home and away by Belgium, including a heavy 6-1 loss in Brussels on matchday 2.
Czeslaw Michniewicz's team are three points clear of the Dragons in third place and need at least one win from their final two games to ensure their safety in League A.

Michniewicz's 30-man squad contains just three home-based players - Kamil Grosicki, Mateusz Legowski and Michal Skoras, although he is keeping tabs on Artur Jedrzejczyk and Bartosz Kapustka.
"Artur is experienced, and we do not have many such defenders at the appropriate level. We really take it into account when it comes to going to the World Cup, because it can help us. Artur is big and has a lot of experience," he said.
"Bartek could use the representation in optimal form. It fits perfectly with what we want to play in the frame," Michniewicz added on Kapustka.
"Unfortunately, after a long injury, he has not yet reached his normal disposition. Recently, he has not always played in Legia from the beginning. However, we will definitely observe him, because he has very great skills."
Head-to-Head record:
Matches - 18
Poland - 3
Netherlands - 8
Draws - 7
