Davies Love III will be keen to continue his dominance by winning the
2022 RBC Heritage having enjoyed a lot of success in the event.
The American golf legend is the most decorated golfer in the history of this tournament having won it a record five times and he was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2017.
However, Love III has never won this tournament since the Royal Bank of Canada took over as the sponsor of the event in 2012, but he will be hoping to change this. ```

The North Carolina-born golfer won the tournament in 1987, 1991 and 1992 when was still known as the MCI Heritage Golf Classic.
Love III, who was a consistent contender and winner on the PGA Tour in the 1990s and early 2000s, then added two more trophies (named MCI Heritage at the time) in 1998 and 2003.
Having won 21 events on the PGA Tour, including one major championship: the 1997 PGA Championship, the accomplished golfer lifted his last professional title in 2015.
His victory in the 2015 Wyndham Championship—at age 51—made him the third-oldest winner in PGA Tour history and he will be keen to end his seven-year drought at the RBC Heritage.
The 57-year-old recently disclosed the secret to his success at the Hilton Head Island (RBC Heritage) where he has looked unstoppable at times over the years.
“People always ask me, ‘Why do you play so well at Hilton Head?’ and I go, ‘Because it’s the week after the Masters,'" Love III said on Golf Week.
"I never really pulled it off to play great there, I’ve had a couple of close calls,
"But my really good weeks ended up being at the Players or Greensboro or Hilton Head — all around the Masters — because that’s what you base your whole winter on, getting ready for the Masters.”
