Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel will be seeking redemption when they compete at the
2022 Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
The South African duo came close to winning this tournament last year as they finished second behind Australia's Marc Leishman and Cameron Smith.
Oosthuizen and Schwartzel will team up again for the 2022 event as they look to emulate David Frost and Gary Player, who are the only South Africans to have won this event.

Oosthuizen, who is ranked 15th in the Official World Golf Rankings, won the Open Championship in 2010 at St. Andrews, and he has lost two playoffs for other major titles.
The 39-year-old finished second behind Bubba Watson in the 2012 Masters and to Zach Johnson and Marc Leishman in The 2015 Open Championship.
While Schwartzel won the 2011 Masters Tournament title 50 years after fellow South African Gary Player became the first international winner of the green jacket.
Currently, 136th on the Official World Golf Rankings, Schwartzel has placed in the top 25 a total of 90 times on the PGA Tour since 2005 and in addition to his Masters' title, he won the 2016 Valspar Championship.

Schwartzel finished 54th at the recent RBC Heritage while Oosthuizen withdrew from the 2022 Masters prior to the second round after sustaining an injury, but he is expected to take part in the Zurich Classic.
“Obviously, Louis and Charl have played well here as a team,” Steve Worthy, the Zurich Classic tournament director said.
“Their first partnership here in 2018 resulted in a third-place finish, and they nearly won our tournament last year,” added Worthy.
There is yet to be a three-time winner at Zurich Classic, but ten have won twice namely; Henry Picard, Byron Nelson, Bo Wininger, Frank Beard, Billy Casper, Tom Watson, Chip Beck Ben Crenshaw, Carlos Franco and Billy Horschel.
