Sacramento Kings will square off with the Golden State Warriors in the
National Basketball Association (NBA) match on April 16.
Head-to-Head
This will be the first-ever meeting between the Kings and Warriors in the NBA playoffs.
However, the Warriors have the upper hand in this rivalry having recorded 215 wins compared to the Kings' 193 victories from 408 NBA regular season games.
Last Meeting
The Warriors defeated the Kings 119-97 as Klay Thompson led all scorers with 29 points and five 3PM for the winning side on 9 April 2023.
The victory saw the Warriors improve to 43-38 on the season, while the Kings fell to 48-33.
What Is At Stake
The winner of the series between the Kings and Warriors will take on either the Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference semi-finals.
The Kings are hoping to go all the way and clinch their second NBA championship, and on the other hand, the Warriors are determined to retain the title.
Key Players
All eyes will be on Warriors' superstar Stephen Curry who has recorded 25 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the victory over the Kings.
While Trey Lyles, who recorded 15 points and eight rebounds for the Kings in the losing effort against the Warriors, will be keen to inspire his side to a win.
