The Blues beat Premier League champions Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League final to cap a terrific few months under Thomas Tuchel's tutelage.
With the seemingly imminent arrival of Romelu Lukaku, who is heavily linked with a return to Stamford Bridge, there is a real sense of optimism amongst Chelsea supporters that the Blues - fourth last season - can push for the Premier League crown in the upcoming campaign.
"Well we want to win, we want to compete and of course we want to be successful. This is in Chelsea’s nature and of course we are up for the challenge," Tuchel told the club's official website.
"We will try to compete for every title in every competition we enter but I also think it will be a huge step forward if we can maintain the same quality, attitude and effort that we showed last season.
"It will be more difficult this season because we are the Champions League winners and teams will want to beat us. It will be demanding but we are up for the challenge and the goals will come by taking care of the process."

Crystal Palace will be under the leadership of former Arsenal captain Patrick Viera this season following Roy Hodgson's departure.
The Eagles have bolstered their defence with the signings Marc Guehi and Joachim Andersen from Chelsea and Lyon respectively, while Michael Olise has joined from Reading. Conor Gallagher has also signed for Palace on-loan from the Blues.
Andros Townsend is among a substantial list of experienced players to leave Selhurst Park, but the club's success in keeping hold of Wilfried Zaha will come as a huge boost.
Chelsea beat Palace 4-0 and 4-1 in the Premier League last season.
