FC Barcelona will square off with Rayo Vallecano in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Spotify Camp Nou on August 13.
Barca suffered to a 2-0 defeat to Villarreal CF at home in their final league game of the 2021-22 campaign on May 22.
As a result, Barcelona are winless in their last two matches in La Liga having recorded one draw and one defeat.

The defeat to Villarreal ended their two-match unbeaten run at home in this competition having registered two successive defeats at Spotify Camp Nou.
“I have many options and it will be difficult to decide on the starting XI, but this is a good thing," Barca manager Xavi said after his side's 6-0 win over a friendly match on Sunday.
“Competition makes everyone better. With these intensity and desire levels, we’re doing well. Intensity is indisputable. However, there are a lot of things we have to improve.
“I don’t know what will happen to Frenkie de Jong. Until August 31st anything can happen, but he knows what I think and what the club want and need. Of course, I’m counting on him, he’s a great player.”

Meanwhile, Vallecano were beaten 4-2 by UD Levante at home in the final match of the 2021-22 league season a game which was played on May 22.
The defeat extended the Red Sashes' winless run to five matches in this competition having recorded two successive draws and three consecutive defeats.
Vallecano are also winless in their last two away matches in La Liga having registered one draw and one loss.
The last meeting between Barcelona and Sevilla in the league was on 24 April 2022.
Vallecano stunned Barcelona as they secured a 1-0 win in a match which was played at the Spotify Camp Nou.
