Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas will be hoping to keep his hopes alive by clinching the
Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
The Finnish driver's ambitions of winning this season's Formula One world title are still alive, but he needs to secure a win this weekend.
Bottas finished second in the most recent race which was the Portuguese Grand Prix.

His teammate Lewis Hamilton won the race with Red Bull driver Max Verstappen securing a third spot finish.
Hamilton remains at the top of the Drivers' Championship standings as he looks to successfully defend his world title.
Bottas is still placed second on the standings, while Verstappen remains third on the table.
There is a 77-point gap between Hamilton and Bottas heading into the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix as the battle for the Formula One world title continues.

Bottas congratulated Hamilton, who became Formula One's most successful driver in terms of race victories (92) after winning in Portugal.
“I want to say massive congrats to Lewis for this amazing achievement,” Bottas said.
“It's a big part of motorsport history made… Many people thought that it was never possible to break the record.
"But that's exactly the mistake. I'm sure Lewis always believed it is possible and you just keep going so really, hats off.”
Mercedes are still placed at the top of Constructors' standings followed by second-placed Red Bull and third-placed Racing Point.
