2022 FIFA World World Cup qualification (CAF) first-round first-leg matches will take centre stage between 4 and 7 September

Mauritius will be hoping to stun Cape Town City full-back Edmilson Dove's Mozambique at the Stade Anjalay, while Liberia will square off with Sierra Leone at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex.
Meanwhile, São Tomé and Príncipe are set to battle with Guinea-Bissau at the Estádio Nacional 12 de Julho and South Sudan will take on Equatorial Guinea at the Al-Hilal Stadium.

Comoros will be keen to cause an upset against Kayserispor striker Emmanuel Adebayor's Togo at the Stade de Moroni, while Chad are scheduled to face Sudan at the Stade Omnisports Idriss Mahamat Ouya.
