AS Roma will renew their rivalry with SSC Napoli in a highly-anticipated
Serie A encounter at the Stadio Olimpico on 23 December.
Current Form
The Wolves succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Bologna FC 2-0 away on 17 December as their five-match unbeaten run in the Italian top-tier ended.
However, Roma are undefeated in their last seven home matches in the league having recorded six successive wins and one draw at the Stadio Olimpico.
Meanwhile, Napoli claimed a 2-1 win over Cagliari FC at home on 16 December as they snapped their two-match winless run in the Serie A.
The Little Donkeys lost to Juventus FC in their last away game and the defeat ended their eight-game unbeaten run on the road in the league.
Team News
Roma's Marash Kumbulla, Tammy Abraham, Chris Smalling, Paulo Dybala and Houssem Aouar are all out injured, but the Wolves have no suspension worries.
On the other hand, Mathías Olivera, Piotr Zielinski and Eljif Elmas are all on Napoli's injury list. However, the Little Donkeys also do not have any suspension issues.

“They are a very physical, intense team, and we were not at our best. They are all different players with their own characteristics," Roma star Leandro Paredes said after his side's defeat to Bologna.
"You must always give your best effort. We didn't do that today, even though we tried. “We must think ahead, preparing for the next game as best we can. We are aware that we will have four very difficult matches.
"It is entirely up to us to prepare the matches as thoroughly as possible. To put everything into them physically in order to arrive at these matches in the best possible way."
