Fortuna Dosseldorf will battle with TSG Hoffenheim in a German
Bundesliga match at the Merkur Spiel-Arena on June 6.
Fortunen are coming off a disappointing 5-0 defeat to Bayern Munich away in a match which was played on May 30.
The defeat ended Dusseldorf's six-match unbeaten run in the league having recorded four draws and two victories.
However, they are unbeaten in their last three home matches in the Bundesliga having registered two draws and one win.
Meanwhile, Hoffenheim secured a narrow 1-0 win over Mainz 05 at home in a match which was played on May 30.
This was Die Kraichgauer's second consecutive win in the league and they are also undefeated in their last three matches in the competition.
Furthermore, they are undefeated in their last four away matches in the Bundesliga having registered one win and three draws.
Ihlas Bebou, the Hoffenheim forward, says they have a chance of winning every match they play as they prepare for Dusseldorf.
"The win [over Mainz] is of course enormously important for us. We want to climb further up the table," Bebou said.
"We have the chance to win every game. Whether we will manage that is up to all up to us. We want to really get stuck into every game."
The last time Dusseldorf and Hoffenheim clashed in a league encounter was on 30 November 2019. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in a match that was played at the PreZero Arena.
