Villarreal will be eager to end their poor run of form in the
2020-21 LaLiga season when they take on Athletic Bilbao at San Mames on Sunday evening.

Los Leones up to 10th on the league standings as they continue to improve under manager Marcelino who is all too familiar with Villarreal supporters following his three years at the club.
El Submarino Amarillo are winless in five LaLiga matches following a 2-1 defeat at home to Real Betis on Valentine's Day. Villarreal have only lost three times all season, but have drawn 12 matches (a league high), with their recent run of results having seriously dented their Champions League hopes.
"It's the first home defeat all season, but it's true that it comes after a number of draws that stopped us from having the consistency we want," said Villarreal manager Unai Emery. "We need to work hard so the team can start playing well again and find consistency.
"We can't lose focus. There's still a lot of the season left. LaLiga demands consistency. We have fallen to sixth and we still have ambitions of qualifying for the Europa League."

The two teams played to a 1-1 draw at Estadio de la Cerámica earlier this season. Inaki Williams opened the scoring for Bilbao before Yeremi Pino equalised for the hosts.
