The Utah Jazz and the Brooklyn Nets will have a crunch showdown in the NBA Regular Season when they meet at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah on the morning of Saturday 5 February 2022. Tip-off is at 04:00.
The Jazz are looking good for a top-four finish in the Western Conference, though they appear to have fallen off the pace set by the leading duo of the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors. Nonetheless, Utah have shown that even without star men Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert – who have been sidelined recently by injury but should be available for this clash – they remain a potent outfit.

"We're playing without Rudy and Donovan right now. But it doesn't mean we can't run back... This is about committing to the things consistently that allow you to (grow)," coach Quin Snyder explained.
The Nets are amongst a bevy of quality teams looking to finish atop the Eastern Conference standings, with Brooklyn battling hard against the likes of the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks.
Star man James Harden has been notably frustrated of later, with coach Steve Nash arguing that this is because the Nets have struggled since the team's Covid-19 outbreak in December — not because he is unhappy in Brooklyn.

"Ever since the COVID return, it's been very average basketball," Nash said. "So, we have higher expectations and it's frustrating, but I think James is happy here for sure."
In head-to-head stats, the Jazz and the Nets have met in 94 Regular Season games since 1976-77, with Utah claiming 62 wins compared to 32 for Brooklyn. The teams’ last Regular Season meeting was in March 2021, with the Jazz winning 118-88 at home thanks to 27 points from Donovan Mitchell.
