Golden State Warriors will face Toronto Raptors in the 2019 National Basketball Association (NBA) finals.
Warriors are two-time NBA champions and they finished the regular season with a 57–25 record.
They won the Pacific Division and secured the first seed in the Western Conference where they defeated Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers.
They are making their fifth consecutive trip to the finals and they are the second team in NBA history to achieve this feat, joining the Boston Celtics, who played in 10 straight Finals (1957/1966).
Meanwhile, Raptors defied all odds and made their way through to their maiden finals.
They defeated the Orlando Magic in five games the first round, before beating the Philadelphia 76ers in seven games in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
Then they advanced to the Eastern Conference finals to face the Milwaukee Bucks, who they defeated.
The last NBA match between Golden State and Raptors was on the 13th of December 2018.
Raptors defeated Golden State 113-93 in Oakland.
