Bologna FC will take on Hellas Verona in an Italian Serie A match at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on January 16.
The Red and Blues suffered a 2-0 defeat to Genoa at home in their previous league game which was played on January 9.
The defeat extended Bologna's winless run to eight matches having recorded three defeats and five draws.
They are winless in their last three home matches in Serie A having registered two successive draws and one defeat.
Riccardo Orsolini, the Bologna winger, was disappointed by their performance against Genoa and he is now targeting a win over Verona.
“The field limited us, we tried to play but we were unable to finish the chances we had," Orsolini said.
"They took advantage of the opportunities we gave them and scored two goals. The mood is not positive, the defeat hurts us but we immediately think about the next match against Verona.
"Unfortunately, every now and then I leave the game, I know my weakness and I recognize it, I should be more consistent and I am aware that this mental step would allow me to be a more complete player."
Meanwhile, Verona emerged 2-1 winners over Crotone at home in their previous league game which was played on January 10.
The win extended the Yellow and Blues' unbeaten run to three matches in this competition having recorded two victories and one draw.
Verona are unbeaten in their last seven away games in the competition having registered three wins and four draws.
The last meeting between Bologna and Verona in the league was on 19 January 2020.
The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in a match which was played at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
