Celta Vigo will face off with CA Osasuna in the Spanish
La Liga match at the Abanca-Balaídos on January 19.
The Sky Blues succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to Real Sociedad away in their last league match which was played on January 8.
The defeat ended Celta's three-match unbeaten in this competition having recorded two successive wins and one draw.
The Sky Blues thrashed Espanyol 3-1 in their home match in La Liga and the win ended their five-match winless run as the hosts.
Meanwhile, Osasuna claimed a 2-0 win over Cadiz at home in their last league game which was played on January 9.
The win ended the Reds' 10-match winless run in this competition having registered five draws and five defeats
Osasuna are winless in their last five games on the road in La Liga having recorded two draws and three defeats as the visitors.
The Reds have announced that their manager has recovered from COVID-19 ahead of their encounter against Celta Vigo.
"Jagoba Arrasate will be in charge of the team's training session on Thursday after having tested negative in three COVID-19 detection tests carried out in the last hours," a statement read.
"The coach, who has been away from Tajonar since last January 3, has not been able to take charge of the Reds in the last three games, two in the league against Athletic Club and Cádiz and one in the Copa del Rey against Girona CF."
The last meeting between Celta and Osasuna in a league match was on 28 February 2021.
The two teams played to a 0-0 draw in an encounter that was played at the Estadio El Sadar which was previously known as Reyno de Navarra.
