Celta Vigo will face off with Villarreal CF in a

The Sky Blues claimed a slender 1-0 victory over Elche CF in their last league match which was played on January 6.
Therefore, Celta are undefeated in their last three matches in this competition having recorded two draws and one victory.

However, the Sky Blues are winless in their last four matches at home in La Liga having registered two defeats and two draws.
Meanwhile, Villarreal secured an impressive 2-1 win over Real Madrid at home in their last league game which was played on January 7.
The Yellow Submarine are now unbeaten in their last three matches in this competition having registered three consecutive defeats.
Villarreal defeated RCD Espanyol in their last game on the road in La Liga and the win ended their six-match winless run as the visitors.

"We started well, dominating the rival's half and generating chances," Villarreal manager Quique Setien said after their win over Madrid.
"We suffered a few occasions but were positive in both directions. We focused on this aspect in this match because if you let Madrid have the ball it will create more problems for you.
"We have had a predisposition and we were effective in our press. I'm happy for the match."
The last meeting between Celta and Villarreal in a league match was on 12 March 2022.
Villarreal emerged as 1-0 winners over Celta in an encounter that was played at the Estadio de la Cerámica which is informally called El Madrigal.
