Real Madrid are one win away from being crowned
2019/20 LaLiga champions and will be aiming to clinch their 34th league title with victory over Villarreal at Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano on Thursday evening.
Los Blancos beat Granada 2-1 on Monday evening for a ninth straight win to put them on the cusp of a first LaLiga crown in three years. Real boast the second best scoring record in the league this season, but it has been their defence that has stood out from the rest having conceded just the 22 goals in 36 matches.
Karim Benzema's form has also been a key factor to their success this season with the Frenchman having netted 19 goals in 35 games to lead Real to a four-point lead with two games remaining.

The Yellow Submarine will be aiming to spoil Real's party in the Spanish capital as they look to nail down a fifth place finish before hosting Eibar on the final day of the season. Javier Calleja's men fell to a 2-1 loss to Real Sociedad in their most recent encounter.
When the two teams met in LaLiga earlier this season at Estadio de la Cerámica, Gareteh Bale scored a brace in a 2-2 draw before being sent off late in the game. Gerard Moreno and Moi Gomez were on target for the hosts.
