Davis Thompson will be determined to make it back-to-back wins on the PGA Tour by winning the
Genesis Scottish Open.
What to know about Thompson
The American golfer won the 2022 Rex Hospital Open and was number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking in 2020 and 2021.
Thompson turned professional in 2021 and he has since won two professional tournaments in the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour.

The former University of Georgia student was in action at the John Deere Classic where he was crowned champion.
Therefore, Thompson is now placed 38th in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and it is also his best overall ranking.

Thompson is oozing with confidence at the moment having won his first career PGA Tour event at the John Deere Classic and he is now eyeing another win in Scotland.
Thompson's 28-under-par for the tournament was the lowest 72-hole score in the tournament’s history, surpassing Michael Kim's 27-under-par at the 2018 edition.
