Liverpool will go in search of yet another victory at Anfield when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Merseyside on Sunday evening, with kick-off at 18:30. The match is one of 10 in this round of fixtures across England’s top flight for the weekend of 25-27 October.
Liverpool’s last home game before the international break was a narrow 2-1 win over Leicester City which further entrenched their place at the top of the log. The Reds will again look to their impressive attacking trio of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino to carry the day.
Unfortunately for the Reds they saw their 17 game win-run come to an end this past weekend following a 1-1 draw against Manchester United, so they will be looking to bounce back with a bang.

Spurs, meanwhile, suffered a 3-0 loss at Brighton & Hove Albion in their last away game in the league. The London side have endured a difficult start to the campaign and will need stars such as Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen to lift their games.
The London side failed to get back to winning ways this past weekend following a 1-1 draw with Watford at home.
In head-to-head stats, Liverpool and Tottenham have met in 157 matches. The Reds have claimed 74 wins compared to 43 for Spurs, while 40 games have been drawn.
Liverpool claimed a league ‘double’ over Spurs in their Premier League meetings last term, winning 2-1 both in London and at Anfield. The Reds also triumphed over Spurs in the final of the UEFA Champions League.
