The Heat has been one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference for some time now, with Miami hoping to put themselves into the Playoffs with style, and in with a chance of claiming the NBA Championship.
One of the Heat’s secrets to success has been the fact they are enjoying their basketball under coach Erik Spoelstra. “It’s been fun," Kyle Lowry said of the team's play. “We have a great group and a bunch of guys who want to win games.”

The 76ers, meanwhile, are one of the teams looking to compete with the Heat, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks for ascendancy in the East. Philadelphia always looks to Joel Embiid for inspiration, with the Cameroonian explaining that "the way I've been playing speaks for itself" when asked why he should be the NBA's Most Valuable Player this season.

“I don't want to push for the whole thing, but the way I've been playing speaks for itself," Embiid said. "Especially with everything we went through, the drama this whole year, obviously missing a big piece and then everything that happened to our team and the way our team is set up.”
In head-to-head stats, the Heat and the 76ers have met in 129 Regular Season games since 1988-89, with Miami claiming 66 wins compared to 63 for Philadelphia. The teams’ last Regular Season meeting was in January 2022, with the 76ers winning 109-98 away thanks to 32 points from Joel Embiid.
