The
2023 Argentine Grand Prix or Gran Premio Michelin de la República Argentina will be staged in Termas de Río Hondo, Argentina on April 2.
What to know about the Argentine GP
This race was established in 1961 and it was held at the Autódromo Oscar Alfredo Gálvez in Argentina's capital city, Buenos Aires until 1999.
The event returned in 2014 with a race at Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo and it is due to take place in circuit until at least 2025.
Most recent race
The Portuguese MotoGP which was the first event of the 2023 MotoGP season took place on March 26 and it was won by Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati.
Aprilia rider Maverick Vinales and Marco Bezzecchi of Ducati finished second and third respectively at the Algarve International Circuit in Portimão.
Therefore, Bagnaia is placed at the top of the riders' standings followed by Vinales and Bezzecchi respectively.

Eight-time MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez of Honda will miss the Argentine MotoGP after undergoing surgery to repair the broken first metacarpal in his right hand.
While Aprilia rider Miguel Oliveira will also not be participating in the upcoming after sustaining an injurt during a crash at the Portuguese MotoGP.
Favourites
All eyes will be on reigning MotoGP world champion Bagnaia, while Vinales and Bezzecchi will also be looking to secure another podium finish.
Aleix Espargaro of Aprilia is the reigning Argentine MotoGP champion and 2021 MotoGP champion Fabio Quartararo of Yamaha will be keen to record his maiden win of the season.
