Manchester United will look to deny Liverpool the chance of a potential treble-winning season when they lock horns at Old Trafford in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday, March 17.
The Reds already have one trophy in their cabinet this season after beating Chelsea 1-0 in the EFL Cup final last month and they're locked in a three-way battle with Arsenal and Manchester City for the Premier League title.
Jurgen Klopp's side knocked out the Gunners (2-0) in the third round before disposing of Championship duo Norwich (5-2) and Southampton (3-0) to book a date with fierce rivals United.
The competition presents the last chance for the Red Devils to win silverware this term and they will be hoping for a cup tonic after struggling to find their form in the league, with the prospect of UEFA Champions League football seeming increasingly unlikely.
Erik ten Hag's side faced their first real test in the fifth round as they beat Nottingham Forest 1-0, having overcome tricky trips to lower-league opponents Wigan (2-0) and Newport (4-2) in the previous two rounds.

With record 14-time winners Arsenal no longer in the mix, Ten Hag has an opportunity to guide United to a 13th title and he is relishing the challenge of taking on their nemesis.
"It's clear. It's a great game for us and we are looking forward to that game," the Dutchman said. "But Liverpool will be the same and will also look forward [to it] as, for them, it's also a very important game.
"We will plan it, prepare very well and we have to get ready for the game. It's a huge game and a derby game, which we want to be in."
Another all-Premier League tie sees defending champions Manchester City take on Newcastle at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, March 9.
The Citizens are pursuing back-to-back trebles, having recently advanced to the last eight of the UEFA Champions League after securing a 6-2 aggregate win over FC Copenhagen.

Pep Guardiola's side kicked off their title defence with a 5-0 rout of Huddersfield before seeing off Tottenham (1-0) and Luton (6-2) in the fourth and fifth round respectively.
The Magpies came up against local rivals Sunderland in the third round, winning the Tyne-Wear derby 3-0 and then eliminating Fulham 2-0 in the fourth round, although they almost slipped up against Blackburn, having triumphed on penalties after the fifth-round clash finished 1-1.
Meanwhile, 2021 champions Leicester will be hoping to keep their dream alive when they face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, March 10.
The Foxes are on course to make a return to top-flight football as they hold a three-point lead over Leeds at the Championship summit with nine games left to play.
Enzo Maresca's side required extra time to beat Bournemouth 1-0 in the fifth round, having dispatched Millwall (3-2) and Birmingham (3-0) earlier on in the competition.
Maresca stressed the importance of using the next week to recover for the cup-tie before heading into the international break to prepare for the title tilt.
"Now they have two days off which they deserve completely," the Italian said. "Then we have the FA Cup next weekend, we're going to enjoy that there.
"And then finally, the international break, we can recover players and recover energy to go again."
The Blues will be keen to make up for the disappointment of losing in the EFL Cup final and they can expect another stern test from Championship opposition after edging Leeds 3-2 in the fifth round.
Elsewhere, Coventry travel to Wolves on Saturday, March 16 looking to reach the semi-finals for the first time since they won the trophy back in 1987.
The Sky Blues last made it to this stage of the competition in 2008-09 and they're coming up against top-flight opponents for the first time this year after beating Oxford United (6-2), Sheffield Wednesday (4-1 in a replay) and Maidstone United (5-0) in the previous three rounds.
Wanderers will be hoping to at least match their run in 2018-19 which saw them make it to the semi-finals. Gary O'Neil's side also needed a replay to get past Brentford (3-2) in the third round before going on to defeat West Brom (2-0) and Brighton (1-0).
