Bagnaia was pleased with his performance at the French MotoGP and he is now looking forward to the Italian MotoGP.
“We managed to do a good race, last year in the wet I was struggling more," Bagnaia said.
"So, I’m happy about that. We just need to check on the data what happened with the bike that I used all weekend on the dry because after the race I started struggling a lot with that bike.
“So, we need to check the data for the next race. But we can be happy about today. I’m second in the championship and just one point behind Fabio.”
Ducati are placed at the top of Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Yahama and Suzuki respectively.
