Rafael Nadal will be looking to continue his dominance at the
Roland Garros by winning this year's tournament on June 5.
Currently ranked world number five in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), Nadal is the most decorated player in the history of the tournament with 13 times.
The Spanish superstar has also won 21 Grand Slam men's singles titles, the most in history, with 62 of these on clay hence his nickname The King of Clay.

The King of Clay entered the 2021 Roland Garros as the heavy favourite seeking to become the first man to win 21 majors.
Nadal reached the semi-finals after wins over Jannik Sinner and Diego Schwartzman, where he faced Novak Djokovic in a rematch of the 2020 final.

The Olympic gold medalist, who is known for his speedy footwork and tenacious court coverage, was upset by eventual champion Djokovic in four sets, in only his third-ever loss at the Roland Garros.
However, Nadal did win his 21st major earlier this year when he clinched the 2022 Australian Open after defeating Daniil Medvedev in a five-set final, coming back from two sets down.

The 35-year-old has revealed that he will be carrying an injury during this year's Roland Garros and that he will be having a doctor by courtside.
"First thing that I need to do is to don't have pain to practice... it's true that during the French Open, Roland Garros, I going to have my doctor there with me," Nadal said.
"That sometimes helps because you can do things. On the positive days and in the negative days, you need to stay and value all the things that happened to me in a positive way."
Prize money for the 2022 Roland Garros will total €43.6 million. The men's and women's singles champions in Paris will each receive €2.2 million.
