Real Sociedad will square off with Atletico Madrid in a
La Liga match at the Estadio de Anoeta on May 22.
The White and Blues claimed a 2-1 win over Villarreal CF away in their previous match in the league which was played on May 15.
As a result, Sociedad are undefeated in their last two matches in this competition having registered two consecutive defeats.

The White and Blues defeated Cadiz CF in their last home in La Liga and the win ended their two-match winless run at the Estadio de Anoeta.
Meanwhile, Atletico were held to a 1-1 draw by Sevilla FC at home in their last match in the league which was played on May 15.
The draw extended the Mattress Makers' unbeaten run to three matches in this competition having registered one draw and two successive wins.
Atletico defeated Elche CF in their last away match in La Liga and the win ended their two-match winless run on the road.

“There are a number of things to improve. I have it clear through my own daily self-criticism, and the self-criticism we will have when the season ends," Atletico manager Diego Simeone said after their draw with Sevilla.
“Excuses are useless. Even in an inconsistent season, we all share responsibility for not going further despite meeting the club’s objective (of Champions League qualification). We need to improve, to speak and believe in what we do in order to compete well.
"There have been times where we have approached Real Madrid and Barcelona, as we won two leagues over them. But Sevilla, Betis, and Athletic are also getting closer to us.”
The last meeting between Sociedad and Atletico in a league match was on 24 October 2021.
Atletico were held to a 2-2 draw by Sociedad in a match which was played at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano with Chinese multinational conglomerate Wanda having purchased naming rights.
