The
Spanish Grand Prix is set to take place in Montmelo which is a municipality within the Barcelona metropolitan area, in Catalonia, Spain on May 22.
This will be the sixth round of the 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship season and it will be held at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
With long straights and a variety of corners, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is seen as an all-rounder circuit and the track has stands with a capacity of 140,700.
The most recent race in the 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship campaign was the Miami Grand Prix which was won by Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing-RBPT on May 8.

The Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr finished second and third respectively at the Miami International Autodrome.
Leclerc is still placed at the top of the 2022 Drivers' Championship standings having accumulated 104 points as the battle for this season's Formula One championship continues.
Verstappen (85 points) and his teammate Sergio Perez (66 points) are placed second and third respectively on the standings as they look to catch Leclerc.
Elsewhere, George Russell (59 points), Sainz Jr (53 points) and Lewis Hamilton (36 points) of Mercedes are placed fourth, fifth and sixth respectively on the standings.

“I think it was exactly what I needed, a clean race. No issues, decent start for starting on the right-hand side; there was zero grip out there on the right side but I did a clean race," Sainz Jr said after the Miami Grand Prix.
"I think I managed to learn quite a lot from the car, managed to complete a race distance that I hadn’t done two races in a row, so it was important. “It's not so much a relief – but it’s needed.
"I think I needed to complete a race distance, to get the body back to shape, and also get the feel for the car on used tyres, high fuel.”
Ferrari are placed at the top of the Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Red Bull Racing-RBPT and Mercedes respectively.
