2019/20 Premier League
Round 14
30 November – 1 December 2019
Both Norwich City and Arsenal will be under pressure to claim a win when they meet at Carrow Road on Sunday 1 December 2019, kick-off at 16:00. The match is one of 10 across the weekend for the 14th round of the Premier League season.
Norwich lifted the gloom somewhat last weekend when they claimed a 2-0 away win at Everton, thanks to goals from Todd Cantwell and Dennis Srbeny. They remain in the relegation zone, but have moved closer to the prospect of safety.
"An all-round performance. We showed when we have some luck with injuries we can be competitive on this level. We are realistic,” said manager Daniel Farke.

"We know we won't win the Premier League and we are still the favourite for position 20 but we showed here when we stick together and we have players available with this quality and mentality we have a chance in each and every game.”
Arsenal, meanwhile, needed a last-gasp equaliser from Alexandre Lacazette to salvage a 2-2 draw at home to Southampton. The Gunners are eight points off the pace of the top four (after just two wins from their last 11 league games) and manager Unai Emery seems to be ever closer to the axe.
"We have to keep fighting and keep trying to sort it out. I think everybody has to try to ask themselves what they can change, what they can give more of,” said captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. "Everybody has to do this, me first. I will try to work hard and to get back to winning ways."
In head-to-head stats, Norwich and Arsenal have met in 51 previous matches. The Gunners have claimed 24 wins compared to nine for the Canaries, while 18 games have been drawn.
The teams last met in the Premier League in the 2015/16 season. Arsenal took four points off Norwich in that campaign, with a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road and 1-0 win at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners also won 2-1 after extra time in the teams’ most recent clash, a League Cup tie in October 2017.
