Collin Morikawa will be hoping to register his maiden win of the 2022-23 season by winning the World Wide
Technology Championship at Mayakoba.
The American star is among the favourites to win the tournament and he is currently placed ninth on the Official World Golf Rankings.
Morikawa, at 25 years of age and through only four seasons on the PGA Tour, has already claimed five victories including two Majors.
The California-born sportsman earned his first PGA Tour title at the 2019 Barracuda Championship in just his eighth career start.
In 2020, Morikawa won twice—the Workday Charity Open and his first career major championship title at the PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park.
The talented golfer then lifted the Claret Jug as the 2021 Champion Golfer of the Year at The 149th Open Championship - winning by two strokes over Jordan Spieth.
Morikawa, who also became the first American to win the Race to Dubai on the European Tour, also claimed the 2021 WGC-Workday Championship at The Concession.

The Mayakoba Golf Classic will mark the latest appearance in Mexico for Morikawa, who has enjoyed success south of the border in the past.
In addition to the 2020 WGC-Mexico Championship, Morikawa competed as an amateur on three occasions at the Cabo Collegiate.
